The fan has a star or ray-shaped baseplate (5) with projections (3) extending radially outwards, on which blades are located axially. Additional sections (8) are provided, which are connected to a central circular section (7), and are also star or ray-shaped. The projections are symmetrical with the outer contour of the baseplate sections (3).
