PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid drop discharging head cleaning device, which can uniformly give a cleaning liquid to a wiping sheet, a liquid drop discharging head cleaning method, a liquid drop discharging device equipped with the liquid drop discharging head cleaning device, an electrooptic device manufactured with the liquid drop discharging device, the manufacturing method of the electrooptic device employing the liquid drop discharging device and electronic equipment equipped with the electrooptic device. SOLUTION: This liquid drop discharging head cleaning device is to clean the nozzle forming surface, through which liquid drops are discharged, of the liquid drop discharging head, and is equipped with a wiping sheet running mechanism for running a wiping sheet in order to wipe the nozzle forming surface, a plurality of injection nozzles 171a for jetting cleaning liquid against the wiping sheet, a cleaning liquid feeding means for feeding the cleaning liquid to each injection nozzle 171a and needle valves 44 provided in correspondence with each of the injection nozzles 171a as the injection amount regulating means for regulating the injection amounts sent from the injection nozzles 171a.
