PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless device for notifying an index about communication quality, depending on changes in a radio wave environment. SOLUTION: A demodulator 42 applies demodulating processing to a received signal. A decoder 46 applies inverse spread spectrum processing to the demodulated signal. Further, the decoder 46 calculates a CIR value 204 to output it to a CPU 26 and a predictor 48. The predictor 48 derives a CIR value 208 at the next reception timing from the CIR value 204. The next CIR value 208 is converted into DRC by a CIR-DRC converting table 50. The CPU 26 processes received data 200 in its inside or transmits the data to a PC 20 connected to the outside via an external IF unit 34. A communication quality index to be informed to a user is obtained by an arbitrary method on the basis of the CIR value 204, and is displayed on a display unit 30 by a symbol such as an antenna mark etc. Also, this index is transmitted to the external PC 20 by the external IF unit 34.
