ROTARY REGENERATIVE AIR PREHEATER FOR PROMOTING INTERNAL FLOW IMPROVEMENT OF FLUID AND HEAT TRANSFER PERFORMANCE

PURPOSE: A rotary regenerative air preheater is provided to promote internal flow improvement of a fluid and heat transfer performance by changing the shape of a heating element in a rotor and to improve the preheating efficiency by preventing by-products from being attached to the surface of the heating element. CONSTITUTION: A rotary regenerative air preheater comprises a housing(2) and a rotor(3) rotating around a driving shaft(1) in the housing. Exhaust gas inlet and outlet ducts(6,7) and air inlet and outlet ducts(4,5) are installed to the ends of the housing. The rotor includes a heating element(20) in which plural heating element sheets are layered. The heating element sheets have the same shape. Linear notches are formed to each heating element sheet. The linear notch of one heating element sheet is situated between the linear notches of other heating element sheets.
