发明名称 APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR HIGH-SPEED EVAPORATION OF LIQUID
摘要 A device for the rapid evaporation of liquids is based on a rotating evaporator associated with gas injection. A suitable device comprises a gas-feed channel; a gas temperature adjusting space (3); a lamellar heat exchanger; electric heaters; gas distributing nozzle zone (4); nozzles; samples holding block; glass tubes; driving mechanism for reaching 6000 rpm drive coupling bushing; outlet bore; gas discharge channel; covers opening and closing mechanisms; and driving motor. The process comprises the high speed injection of a dry gas or air at 1-20 l/minute/nozzle into the gas temperature regulating chamber (3) where gases are heated to required precise evaporation temperatures. Gases are fed through the gas distribution nozzle zone into glass tubes held in drive bushings located in the sample holding housing block (5). Liquid films forming on tube surfaces, due to rotation are evaporated by gases acting on the films. Solvents containing gases leave via the gas discharge. A further process based on high speed recirculating gas injection system (also for laboratory use) comprises: 1-20 l/minute/nozzle high gas-speed gas pump or other similar high speed ensuring unit (1); gas preheater (2); gas temperature adjusting space (3); gas distribution nozzle zone (4); sample holding unit (5); an evaporator housing, that contains glass tubes held by collets for 6000 rpm rotation; gas cooling unit, and condensed drop separation and collector units. Another solution involves heating up selected gases or air circulated by a high performance pump (1) through the preheater (2) and the gas temperature adjusting space (3). Preheated gas is supplied via nozzles, from the gas distribution area into open-ended gas-tubes. Following evaporation of a liquid from glass-tubes, gas collected above the tubes in the working sample housing (5) is cooled in the gas cooling units (7) to low temperatures. Solvents separating from the gas are condensed by a drops separating condenser (8) into a collector (9). Optionally the dry gas is recirculated, so that it flows in an axial direction, having a speed of 1-20 l/minute/nozzle. Glass-tubes are rotated by 6000 rpm around their longitudinal axes, so that a uniform liquid film is formed on glass-tube walls. High speed rotation is accomplished by an assembly of tube holding bushings and driving motors.
