PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a retaining force of an exterior finishing material for a construction and others. SOLUTION: The exterior finishing material holding device is configured in such a way that a locking part 2, which an edge end 7 of a U-shaped retainer A of 1.8 meter or greater is suitably laterally bent, is pinched to be jointed by a part 1 to be locked which is formed by notching a back side of an exterior finishing plate B.
