PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steer-by-wire system and its control program by which the excessive turning of a steering wheel can be prevented. SOLUTION: By this steer-by-wire system 10 and its control program PG1, when the steering of road wheels 30 and 30 is restricted because a driving current to a steering actuator 33 is limited, a steering reaction force is increased, and the steering of a steering wheel 11 is restricted as well. Thus, the excessive turning of the steering wheel 11 can be prevented from occurring. Also, the driving current to a motor 31 is limited for the reason of an overload that the steering actuator 33 becomes a specified temperature or higher, and troubles of the actuator 33 by heat can be prevented from occurring.
