PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet for a battery case which is light and thin, and excellent in strength and endurance as well as moisture and gas barrier properties, and whose inner heat-adhesive resin layer is strongly heat-sealed to the metal of an electrode terminal and moisture absorption is so low as not to cause any effect of moisture to the inside. SOLUTION: The sheet for the battery case 30 is formed by sequentially laminating from the outside, for example, a first substrate film layer 1a, a metal foil layer 2, a second substrate film layer 1b, and a heat-adhesive resin layer 3. The inner heat-adhesive resin layer 3 is formed of a laminated body consisting of a polyolefin resin layer 3a and an acid-modified polyolefin resin layer 3b having the acid component content of 0.01-10 wt%.
