FIELD: aerodynamics, development of the shape of the rocket nose cone. ^ SUBSTANCE: the rocket nose cone is made in the form of a body of revolution and has a cylindrical and nose sections. The generating line of the nose section represents a smooth line monotonically increasing in the direction to the cylindrical section, having no bending points, and consists of two components. The first component is made in the arc of a circle with the centre on the cone axis, and the second component is made in the arc of a circle of another radius. The generating line of the cone nose section is additionally provided with a third component made in the arc of a circle with the centre on the line perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the cone and lying in the plane of the joint of the nose and cylindrical sections, and the centre of the arc of the circle of the second component lies on the intersection of the radii of the first and third components, the generating line of the nose section is described by a function given in the description. ^ EFFECT: reduced drag coefficient by 25-35% in supersonic flight conditions, and by 15-20% in transonic flight conditions. ^ 2 dwg |
