PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a crime prevention performance of a window glass pane near a locking means like a crescent lock in the case that a crime prevention glass pane or a crime prevention film sheet is used for a window glass pane. SOLUTION: The sash window is constituted by crime prevention glass panes or crime prevention film sheets and by firmly holding glass panes 15, 25 with a specified shape by frame members 11-14, 21-24 provided along the periphery. The sash window is attached to the opening of an architectural structure to be openable /closable and locked by locking means 30, 31 when it is closed. In such as a sash window, glass face reinforcing structural bodies 40, 41 made of a thin plate member are installed on the surface of the glass panes 15, 25 near the locking means 30, 31.
