PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a media case which can protect a medium and from which the medium can be taken out safely and reliably. SOLUTION: This case is provided with a case main body housing the medium of a plate type and a supporter supporting the medium housed in the case main body in a housing state, the case main body is provided with an entrance of a slit type through which the medium is put in and put out and a pair of opposite guide planes so that both planes of the medium put in and put out from the entrance can be guided, a housing part housing the medium and a path connecting the entrance and the housing part are formed between the pair of guide planes, the supporter is provided so as to be able to go and back for the path, the supporter controls that the medium in the housing part is moved toward the entrance by projecting in the path, on the other, the medium can be moved toward the entrance by withdrawing from the path.
