PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel (PDP) capable of sufficiently providing a gas sucking action, and of restraining a trouble from occurring in an exhaust baking process, in a PDP having a structure provided with a gas suction member. SOLUTION: In relation to a plasma display panel which is provided with a front substrate 2 and a back substrate 3 of a pair of substrates oppositely disposed so as to form a discharge space 16 inside it, and in which at least one of the substrates has a communication hole 15 communicating with the inside, and the gas sucking member 20 is installed in the vicinity of the communication hole 15, this plasma display panel 1 is so structured that the sucking member 20 is formed into a structure having a hole part 20a; and by virtue of the structure, the sucking member 20 never close or stop up the communication hole 15 or an exhaust pipe 19, and an exhaust rate can be increased, so that exhaust efficiency can be improved.
