Onion pills for improving health and a manufacturing method thereof are provided, thereby improving eating convenience and storage of health improving components in onions. The manufacturing method of onion pills for improving health comprises the steps of: selecting onions and Perilla nankinensis leaves, and sterilizing, washing and cutting them; selecting garlics, and roasting them on the yellow soil at 700 to 800 deg. C for 4 hours; freeze-drying the onion and Perilla nankinensis leaf cuttings at -40 deg. C for 24 and 10 hours, respectively, and drying the roasted garlics at 40 deg. C for 18 hours; pulverizing the freeze-dried onion and Perilla nankinensis leaf cuttings and dried roasted garlics, and adding bamboo salt into the pulverized mixture of onion, Perilla nankinensis and garlics; and kneading the mixture and manufacturing pills from the kneaded mixture. The onion pill comprises 68 wt.% of onion, 19 wt.% of garlic, 4 wt.% of Perilla nankinensis leaf and 9 wt.% of bamboo salt.
