PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device capable of enhancing the supporting rigidity without increasing the weight. SOLUTION: A bracket 12 of the steering device is constituted so that a vehicle body fitting hole 12c and a part of a tilt groove 12b of a bracket part 12a to tiltably hold an inner column 11 are deviated in the axial direction of a steering shaft S. When the inner column 11 is subjected to the force in the horizontal direction, the force is supported by a bolt 18 passed through the vehicle body fitting hole 12c separated from the tilt groove 12b in the axial direction, and the supporting rigidity thereof is effectively enhanced without increasing the weight of the steering device 10.
