PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic circuit structure for a rotary electric machine that can increase magnetic flux, that can increase the rotation of a rotor at low cost, and that makes it possible to use a reluctance torque effectively. SOLUTION: The rotary electric machine is made up of a stator 221; an outer rotor 211 provided outside the stator with a plurality of outer permanent magnets 212 arranged on its circumference; and an inner rotor 201 provided inside the stator with a plurality of inner permanent magnets 202 arranged on its circumference and inclined by a fixed angle to a rotating shaft in the reverse direction alternately. In this machine, magnetic flux (magnetic flux 1) that synchronizes with the inner rotor uses the outside of the outer permanent magnets as a yoke portion to form an inner magnetic circuit. Also, the magnetic flux (magnetic flux 2) that synchronizes with the outer rotor uses the outside surface of the inner permanent magnets as the yoke portion to an outer magnetic circuit. At the same time, the inner magnetic circuit is used as a quadrature-axis magnetic circuit of the outer rotor, and the outer magnetic circuit as the quadrature-axis magnetic circuit of the inner rotor.
