PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnet for mass separation having an electromagnet, in which a sufficient mass separating function is displayed in response to a wide range of energy and ion mass, and to provide an ion injection device. SOLUTION: In the electromagnet 10 for mass separation which is used in the ion injection device 1 and which changes the ion beam generated at an ion source 2; the electromagnet for deflecting the ion beam is constituted to include a plurality of sets of coils 15A, 15B, an electric power switching unit 12 which supplies electric power enabling selection of one of or combination of each set of the coils, and power supply 11 which supplies electric power to the coils 15A, 15B via the electric power switching unit 12.
