The device has an emitting source (1) including an active part (2) placed in a micro-cavity delimited by a rear mirror (3) and an output beam mirror (4). The rear mirror is fixed on an emitting surface of a diode pump (7) emitting an optical pumping beam at predetermined wave length. The diode pump is constituted by a micro component e.g. Fabry perot type diode, with vertical cavity emitting on to the surface.
