PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminator constituted so as to uniformly bond a laminate material to the recording surface of a medium to be recorded under heating and pressure even if pressing the laminate material by a pressure roller while heating the same so as to bond the laminate material to the recording surface of the medium to be recorded under heating and pressure to enhance finish quality. SOLUTION: The laminator is equipped with the pressure roller (43) supported at both end parts thereof by shafts and energized in the direction crossing the axis of the roller at an almost right angle and constituted so that the laminate material B superposed on the recording surface of the sheetlike medium (A) to be recorded is pressed by the energized pressure roller (43) while heated thereby to bond the laminate material B and the recording surface under heating and pressure. The outer diameter of the pressure roller (43) is contracted from the almost central part in the axis direction of the pressure roller toward both ends thereof to form the pressure roller into a drum shape and the pressure roller is energized to be deformed elastically.
