PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a sheet for forming a protective layer with which a molded article having wear resistance and solvent resistance is obtained and which is free from the tackiness of a B-staged cured coating film and easily preserved, and to provide a method for forming the protective layer of the molded article using the sheet for forming the protective layer. SOLUTION: The sheet for forming the protective layer has a coating layer formed by applying a curable resin composition containing a compound (A) having≥2 in total of active methylene groups and/or active methine groups in the molecule and a compound (B) having (metha) acryloyl group and irradiating with active energy light to make the curable resin composition B-staged. The method for forming the protective layer of the molded article is carried out by sticking a base body sheet of the sheet for forming the protective layer to the molded article and heating the stuck article to further cure the B-staged coating layer.
