PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal urging an operation to a third person while preventing the recognition of a security mode by a third person and being capable of tracking an operation history by the third person. SOLUTION: When a portable telephone 10 is set in the security mode, a display unit 4 displays dummy data such as a false telephone directory. The portable telephone 10 is operated without the consciousness of the working of a security function to the third person. The log of a malfeasant operation conducted by the portable telephone 10 during the security function is conserved in a memory 3. When the capacity of the conserved log reaches a constant size and a fixed time passes, the log is transmitted to a personal computer or the like for a portable-telephone owner from a communication section 5.
