The strip electrode is preferably substantially 1À5 inches wide by 0À001-0À015 inches thick. In a preferred embodiment, the strip is 1À5 by 0À005 inches and the granular-to-electrode weight is 2 : 1. The arc is created between the strip electrode and the granular material. |
