<p>The spectacle frame has two separate lens frames (10) joined together by a bridge piece, with a side arm (12) hinged to each lens frame (10) at the temple. Each temple hinge (23) comprises one hinge member (24) attached to the arm (12) and a second hinge member (25) formed by an intermediate element (22) forming an extension of the arm (12) with the intermediate element (22) rigidly secured to the respective lens frame (10). The intermediate element (22) is secured to the latter by a term joint (15), with an integral curved projection (17) of the lens frame (10) locating in a rectangular aperture (32) in the intermediate element (22). The lens frame projection (17) preferably has an attached loop (20), through which a pin can be passed to secure the joint.</p> |
