1. A gaming system comprising:
a housing; at least one display device supported by the housing; a plurality of input devices supported by the housing, said plurality of input devices including:
(i) an acceptor, and(ii) a cashout device; at least one processor; and at least one memory device which stores a plurality of instructions, which when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to operate with the at least one display device and the plurality of input devices to:
(a) if a physical item is received via the acceptor, establish a credit balance based, at least in part, on a monetary value associated with the received physical item,(b) for each play of a wagering game:
(i) receive a wager on the play of the wagering game, said credit balance being decreasable based on the received wager on the play of the wagering game,(ii) generate an outcome for the play of the wagering game,(iii) display the generated outcome, and(iv) provide any award associated with the generated outcome, said credit balance being increasable based on any award associated with the generated outcome,(c) in addition to the play of the wagering game, display at least one event in a service window of the at least one display device, said at least one displayed event associated with at least one controller determination,(d) after displaying the at least one event in the service window of the at least one display device, cause data associated with the at least one displayed event to be communicated to a mobile device which stores the data associated with the at least one displayed event, and(e) if a cashout input is received via the cashout device, cause an initiation of any payout associated with the credit balance. |
