<p>The installation stacks the correspondence items, chiefly letters, into a stack position and removes them from that position using an adjustable stacking carriage with a conveyor system below with both arranged in stacking position to stack the correspondence and having a detaching device which removes the correspondence items from the stacked position. The stacking carriage is fitted with a guide section (24) which has a flexible connection to stack the correspondence and a first sensor to control the stacking carriage drive unit. The guide section is made in the form of a pick-up roller conveying the correspondence, whilst the detaching device consist of a perforated conveyor band with a suction device mounted behind it (18).</p> |
