The present invention provides an optical connector which can perform assembling operation again with the same optical connector (1) in a condition that the abutting state of a blank line (9) in the optical connector is bad. The optical connector (1) is provided with the following components: a collar (3) which is internally provided a front blank line (9F), and a blank line fixing component (4) which is equipped at the back end of the collar (3). The optical connector is characterized in that: the blank line fixing component (4) is provided with a through hole (11) which guides the front blank line (9F) and a back blank line (9R) where the end of a covering member of an optical cable (20) is removed; the through hole (11) is provided with a projection part (12) which is formed in a mode of expanding the through hole (11) at an abutting part (29) where the front blank line (9F) abuts against the back blank line (9R); and reflectivity integrating agent (30) is filled at the projection part (12). |
