<p>The casing (1) has an input shaft (2) driving a stub shaft (6) in roller bearings (4, 7). The end (8) of the stub shaft incorporates one half (9) of a vee pulley side, the other (10) being formed by a sleeve sliding in splines (14, 15) on the shaft. Solid with the drive shaft and sliding axially on splines (20, 21) is a carrier ring (19, 22). This having three arms equidistant around its periphery. Each arm carries a pivot (25), disposed radially and carrying a roller (26) bearing on a profiled face on the adjustable drive pulley side. Springs (28) apply the driving tension to a belt (18) connecting a similar arrangement on the output shaft (3).</p> |
