A central O-ring 36 separates the hot and cold inlets to the plug while a screw 22 limits rotation of the plug. The valve 33 may be operated by a lever (49, Fig. 3) through a cam or the mixing chamber may have a common vertical axis with the plug (60, Fig. 4). In a further embodiment, the passage (79, Figs. 5 to 10) connecting the mixing chamber to the valve outlet is not controlled by the valve 33.</p> |
