Wall anchor bracket for soft insulating material - has trailing twist plate for retaining insulation after insertion of bracket point

An anchor bracket which is used to attach soft light weight material, such as insulating layers, to walls or ceilings, has a triangular point (1) to which a twist plate (3) is attached. The twist plate (3) is linked to the point (1) by a thin web (2) and all three items form an integral component which is produced by punching it from sheet metal. When the anchor bracket is installed, it is pushed through the soft layer of insulation and then its triangular point (1) is pressed or hammered into the wall or ceiling. The trailing support plate (3) is then twisted about 45 deg. so that it retains the insulating layer in the installed position.
