The acidic material may comprise adipic, maleic, sebacic, succinic, benzoic, or salicyclic acid, or ammonium chloride. Aqueous or organic solvents may be used to apply the acidic material to the support material with heat or reduced pressure being optionally used to remove the solvent. The plastics material preferably has a larger particle size than the support material and may comprise polyethylene, polystyrene, polytetrafluoroethylene, or a methacrylate polyester. The interleaving material may be between 30 and 300 mesh in size and applied at a rate of between 0À05 and 1 gram/sq. foot of glass.</p>
