One-component mixtures for the preparation of sealants, heat-sealing compositions or moulding compositions which have a long shelf life in the dry state and cure on contact with moisture in the presence of oxidants, based on liquid polymers or mixtures of monomeric, oligomeric and polymeric compounds containing terminal mercapto groups, are obtained if they contain anhydrous potassium permanganate as latent curing agent and the mercapto-terminated compounds in the anhydrous state.
