Thermally active laminate e.g. for solar collectors, agriculture, etc. comprises a black-pigmented plastic film with an orange peel-like surface, and pref. also a crimped relief surface, bonded to an open-cell foam plastic web. The plastic film may be adhered to a reinforcing support e.g. textile material, fleece, etc. To the near surface of the laminate may be adhered a plastic heat or cold exchanger with welded fins, or an Al-contg. reflective film or textile web. The resulting laminate canb e mfd. economically on high-output machines, and has extremely high efficiency, extremely light weight, flexibility and opt. even elasticity.
