The fire signalling- and extinguishing plant is fitted with a feature which ensures the operation of the extinguishing equipment even in case of power failure. The plant is fitted with electric fire-signalling devices (De1, De2, De3) fitted inside the space to be protected and are triggered off at the start of a fire. They are connected via line (10) with central station (Z) containing an evaluating circuit. A further, manual signalling device (Dm) is inserted in the line (10) fitted outside the space to be protected. The control- and actuating equipment (14) fitted within the space (A) is connected to a power source via switch (12). The space (A) also contains extinguishing nozzle (16) connected by pipe (18) to the extinguishing agent source (20).
