Spectacles with superimposed pairs of light polarised elementshave one pair fixed in the frame and lens elements of other pair pivoted. Pre-tension elements are fixed to the pivoted lens element and engage the frame. The pre-tension elements press the pivotedlens element in the axial direction in a predetermined relationship to the frame. The movement of the pre-tension elements (11) produces a rotation of the pivoted lens element relative to the frame. A single polarising spectacles glass (10) is fixed to the pre-tension elements (11) with rivets (12). One side (13) of the pre-tension elements (11) is longer than the other side (14).
