<p>Lubricating compositions comprising a major amount of a lubricating oil and a minor amount of at least one additive of the formula: <IMAGE> WHEREIN R is a hydrocarbon-based group of up to about 30 carbon atoms and having a valence of m + q; each R' is independently selected from hydrogen and a hydrocarbon-based group of up to about 20 carbon atoms; x and y are independently from 2 to 5; z is from zero to 5; q is from zero to 4 and m is from 1 to 5 with the proviso that m + q is from 1 to 6, have increased resistance to oxidative degradation and anti-wear properties.</p> |
