摘要 Provided is a compressor which, when a release valve device is provided therein, the deformation of both a hold-down section and a release valve receiver is reduced to improve the reliability. This scroll compressor is provided with a release valve device for connecting a compression chamber and a discharge pressure space which is located above a stationary scroll, thereby allowing an operating fluid to flow from the compression chamber to the discharge pressure space. The release valve device comprises: a release valve which opens and closes a release hole passage which connects to the compression chamber; a release valve receiver which receives the release valve when the release valve is opened; and a hold-down section which holds down the release valve receiver from above when the release valve receiver releases pressure. The hold-down section has formed therein: a first hole which corresponds to the discharge opening of the stationary scroll, the discharge opening allowing an operating fluid compressed by the compression chamber to flow thereout of; and a second hole which corresponds to the release valve device. The first hole and the second hole are not connected to each other, and the first hole is disposed at a position separated from the second hole. Consequently, the first hole and the discharge opening are formed so that a portion of each of the first hole and the discharge opening does not overlap each other.
