Medical probe battery container - has metal housing for battery and circuit acting as earthing contact against body

The battery container is for medical probes etc investigating points on the body, e.g. in the ears, having an electronic circuit, an earthing contact for application to the patient, and a feeler member. It has an inner unit (1) with housing equipped with an electric probe circuit (2) connected to the battery, together with a metal outer housing (7) having a switch at one end. The housing accommodates both the battery and the unit with the circuit. One pole of the switch is in electrical contact with the outer housing, which forms the last electrical component of a series circuit with battery and electronic circuit, and acts as an earthing contact against the human body.
