<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the captioned sheet which is prevented from mesh staggering, acceptable in working property and productivity and flexible by placing a wire gauze on a plastic sheet and integrating both through heating without pressurization. CONSTITUTION:A wire gauze 1 consisting, for example, of iron 0.2-1mm in size and 100-2,000 g/m<2> in weight/area, or aluminum etc. is fed continuously through guide roll 6. On the other hand, a plastic sheet 2 of polyolefin is fed continuously on guide rolls 7, 8, 9, 10. Both wire gauze 1 and sheet 2 are heated on a heater 15 to soften the sheet 2, thus integrating both the two 1, 2. In this case a tensile force is applied to the wire gauze 1 in such degree as will cause no cut nor mesh staggering on the wire gauze 1 itself. It is then preferable to preheat the wire gauze 1 on the heater 14 at temperatures over melting point of the sheet 2. It is also desirable to give a modified polyolefin on wire gauze 1 side of the sheet 2.</p> |
