摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing 1,2-dichloroethane by using a catalyst mixture, which mixture is prepared by uniformly controlling a mixing ratio of a catalyst with a diluting material in the length direction of a reaction tower, so that a hot spot problem is reduced and the 1,2-dichloroethane is produced stably for a long period of time.SOLUTION: The method for producing 1,2-dichloroethane comprises the steps of: using a fixed-bed flow system catalytic reaction tower, an oxychlorination catalyst reaction process, and a hollow cylindrical oxychlorination catalyst having the length x, the outside diameter y, the inside diameter z and the bulk density ρ; packing the catalyst mixture comprising the oxychlorination catalyst and the diluting material having an optional shape in the reaction tower; and feeding ethylene, hydrogen chloride and oxygen to the catalyst mixture-packed reaction tower to produce the 1,2-dichloroethane. The catalyst mixture is used, which has 3.7 or smaller standard deviation of the mixing ratio of the catalyst with the diluting material in the length direction of the reaction tower.SELECTED DRAWING: None
