The gas lighter consists of a tubular casing (2) made up in two halves. The inside of the casing has space (3) which can house a disposable lighter (4), and a funnel (5) which is opened at the outer end (6). The space and the funnel are separated by the lighter cover (4a). The lighter is held in position by the stop (7) located in the case. Gas from the furnace which is ignited is drawn into the funnel for ignition to take place. The case is split along a longitudinal seam with the upper part latched under the boss (16).
