The volume meter has pistons reciprocated by the liquid of which the volume is to be metered. The pistons are secured to a crankshaft, rotation of which is signalled by a disc 14 secured to an extension of the shaft. The disc forms part of a pulse generator 14, 15 for counting rotations of the shaft. The number of pulses per rotation is adjustable by a member 16a to compensate for constructional and medium-affected deviations.
