<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a joined body with excellent sealing property and good appearance by a method wherein an elastic core is joined to the hollow part of an elastic member formed by extrusion and, after the member is set in a mold and another elastic member is formed, the core is taken out. CONSTITUTION:An elastic core 10 formed of rubber or synthetic resin is joined to the hollow part 3 of an elastic member 2 formed by extrusion. Then, the member being set in a mold, another elastic member 5 is injected in the end part of the member 2 and formed. After completion of the forming, the elastic core 10 is taken out from a hole made or a groove cut in the member 2, thus a desired product, such as a weatherstrip, wherein the end part of the hollow elastic member 2 is connected with the other elastic member 5 being obtained.</p> |
