PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive toner concentration control method free from toner scattering by replenishing the toner having sufficient amount of magnetism to the carrier then removing the excess toner by magnetic force. CONSTITUTION:The developer scooped up by buckets 10 is released to a sloping plate 12 in the upper portion of a roller 7 and flows down on this. Multiple holes 12a are formed on this sloping plate 12, and the diameter of the holes 12a is set smaller than the grain sizes of the carrier and larger than the grain sizes of the magnetic toner. Of the developer flowing down on the sloping plate 12, the magnetic toner excessively mixed therein is attracted by the magnetical suction force of the magnet 15 of the excess toner removing device installed below the sloping plate 12 and is continuously carried downward by a rotating sleeve 14. It is scraped off from the sleeve by a scraper 16 and is reused. In this way, the inexpensive toner concentration control system free from toner scattering is obtained. |
