First and second rotors have cylindrical bores about the axes of which they are arranged to rotate. The rotational axes are spaced apart but parallel, with the second rotor located within the bore of the first rotor. Vanes attached to one of the rotors make continuous sealing sliding contact with the wall face of the other rotor. Inlet and outlet ports are provided in an elongated hollow cylindrical body concentric with the inner rotor. The inner rotor has communication with the inlet corresponding with the chamber of increasing volume and communication with the outlet corresponding with the chamber of decreasing volume. |
