PURPOSE:To achieve reduction in equipment occupancy area and safety of operator, by securing a space for building-in a robot device on a side surface of a machine main body. CONSTITUTION:A vertically movable robot device 30 is incorporated in the side surface of a fixed column 12 of a machine main body 10 as a continuously built-in body. A robot hand 34 of this robot device 30 conducts exchange of tool arbor between a tool-accommodating magazine 60 and a machine's main axis 14, which are installed in the machine main body 10, and at the same time, this robot hand 34 approaches a work-feeding table 80 arranged in the neighborhood of the machine main body 10, and it feeds and sets a work W onto a work table 20 of the machine from the work-feeding table 80. As a space for operation of the robot device 30 is thus securely maintained on a side surface of the machine main body 10, safety of an operator approaching the machine is assured. |
