PURPOSE:To enable recording of high picture quality by controlling intervals of driving pulses that advance a step motor for sub-scan-directional drive by one step so that a linear sub-scan be made. CONSTITUTION:Pulses driving step motor 5 for a sub-scan on plotter 2 are generated by driving pulse generator 4. Intervals of driving pulses are controlled by control CT part 3. Then, CT part 3 is provided with ROM and as to all driving pulses required for one-sheet recording operation, the delay time of each pulse is coded to obtain a time control signal, which is stored. Picture information is stored in buffer memory 1 as much as (n) lines and by a control signal, corresponding to its output signal, from ROM of CT part 3, pulse generator 4 is controlled. Consequently, a white line part formed between adjacent main scanning lines is not linear and an easy-to-see screen can be obtained. |
