Power generation system attached to chimney - using exhaust air as drive medium with hollow cylindrical body, impeller fitted to drive shaft of generator

The power generation system uses shafts such as chimneys with the exhaust of cold or warm air as the driving medium for a generator. A cylindrical-shaped unit (10) is mounted at the outlet end of the shaft. It is open at both ends (13,14). The cross- section is matched to that of the shaft. The hollow inner chamber (12) of the cylinder mounted on the shaft is fitted with a shaft (20) with an impeller. The impeller shaft is coupled to the drive shaft (30) of the power generator (35) via a system of gears. The joint between the cylindrically shaped unit (10) and the top of the chimney is sealed by a conical cowling with gusset plates (16).
