<p>PURPOSE:To provide a fluidized bed waste water disposer having an excellent fluidizing efficiency, in an apparatus for cycling granular carriers in a suspended state along the whole area in an outside cylider with an air lift action in an inside cylinder, by defining the ratios of the diameters and the heights of the inside and the outside cylinder. CONSTITUTION:An inside cylinder 2 is arranged in an aerating vessel 1. The inside diameter D2 and the height H of the cylinder 2 and the inside diameter D1 of the vessel 1 are settled at the relations of D2/D1=0.1-0.7 and H/D1=7.0-10.0. Air fed from an air sparger 6, accompanied with waste water and granular carriers 3 onto which aerobic bacteria are adhered, rises inside the cylinder 2 owing to an air lift action, reverses at the upper portion and falls downwards outside the cylinder 2. Thus, the waste water and the carriers are cycled. In this process, oxygen, the aerobic bacteria on the carriers 3 and the waste water constitute a stationary cycling system to facilitate the disposal. In this case, the cycle amount of the carriers 3 is enlarged by a small aerating ratio, and therefore an electric power consumption for an air blower can be saved.</p> |
