A cassette-type feeder replacement system (34) detachably arranged at the front of a component-mounting machine (35) and having provided therein, in three vertical stages, an attachment work area (41), a replacement area (42), and a feeder stock area (43). The attachment work area (41) in the uppermost stage is an area where a plurality of cassette-type feeders (11) that supply components to a component attachment position of the component-mounting machine (35) are lined up and set. The feeder stock area (43) in the lowermost stage is an area where: the next cassette-type feeder (11) that will replace the used cassette-type feeder (11) in the attachment work area (41) is housed; and used cassette-type feeders (11) are collected. The used cassette-type feeders are retrieved by a replacement robot from the attachment work area (41) and collected to the feeder stock area (43), and the next cassette-type feeder (11) is retrieved from the feeder stock area (43) and supplied to the attachment work area (41). |
