PURPOSE:To prepare a ''konjak'' jelly (devil's-tongue jelly) efficiently, by feeding a ''konjak'' paste to a conveyor equipped with form adjusting plates on both sides thereof, reversing the conveyor, and curing the coagulated ''konjak'' in a hot water bath. CONSTITUTION:A ''konjak'' paste prepared by adding milk of lime to a refined flour make from the root of a ''konjak'' (devil's-tongue) is fed from a feeding apparatus 8 to a belt coneyor 1 equipped with form adjusting plates 2 on both sides thereof and adjusted in a leveling part 9. In a coagulating part 13, the paste is heated by hot water jetted from the upper and lower hot water pipes 11 and 12 and coagulated. The coagulated ''konjak'' jelly is then fed to a hot water tank 15 in the return path of the conveyor 1, cured, extruded onto the plate of a delivery part 17 and cut by a cutter 19. |
