PURPOSE:To remove line crawls and realize high resolution, by performing space modulation on colors and light different in every horizontal scanning, reversing the signals to each other and simultaneously correcting luminance signal components. CONSTITUTION:Filter element trains are arranged as W, CY, CY in the period of nH-th horizontal scanning, and as YE, W, YE, W in the period of (n+1)H-th horizontal scanning, and these element trains are successively installed in the direction of vertical scanning. When a space modulation is performed by using the formed mosaiclike color filters, the R and B alternately are modulated in every one horizontal scanning, and the phase is also reversed. This modulated signal is separated to the low pass components which are luminance components and modulated color signal component, and the low pass component is corrected by using the separated color signal component, so that color signals having no errors of G+B+R is obtained at any horizontal scanning. In this way, line crawls are removed and high resolutions is contrived. |
